Bovine and Equine Reproduction Courses
About
Hosted by the Animal Science Program, these two day short courses teach participants about reproductive methods in a hands on method lead by experts in their fields. Topics inlcude the history of artifical insemination (AI), finding the target, straw insemination, collection of semen and more.
Our curriculum specializes in livestock production and equine science, with short courses designed for individuals who are interested the field to professionals such as veterinarians, vet tech's, animal scientist, etc.
Cost
Costs vary by course. Payments can be made online when registering. Individuals are responsible for their overnight lodging and meals. Course supplies are included in the course fee.
Location
The Bull Test Center and Equine Center are located on the west side of campus with beautiful rolling hills with 100 acres of pasture. Facilities include dedicated barns, a teaching laboratory ( indoor and outdoor arenas, and a breeding shed.

Course Details
- Each course is two days: 8am-6pm each day, 20 hours total.
- Maximum 10/minimum 5. Individuals 18 or older who have interest working with AI in cattle.
- $625 per person, includes all course supplies.
